Who I Am
A connector by instinct. A packager by practice.
Director of Project Packaging & Strategic PartnershipsGranby Film Projects
I understand who needs to speak to whom, why the relationship matters and what has to be true for a useful conversation to begin.

The Honest Story
How my career evolved.
I built Granby Film Projects on transferable skills developed across years of relationship-led work.
My route into the industry is grounded in stakeholder management, client care, business-building, research, judgement and an ability to identify the right professional for a specific need.
Professional Journey
The experience behind the role.
- Foundation
Hospitality, security and stakeholder management
For approximately four years, I worked as a Security Manager and Host within a major UK hospitality operation averaging approximately £150,000–£200,000 in weekly revenue. The role developed my customer relations, composure, problem-solving and ability to manage different personalities, investors and commercial interests in the same environment.
- Business
Private health and client care
I then developed my own work in private health and wellness, including physiotherapy and health-related services. I built professional networks, contracted other physiotherapists, worked directly with clients and developed relationships around deeply personal needs, including end-of-life care. My principle was consistent: help people achieve the best possible outcome from what they were investing—their health, body, time or money.
- Transition
Deliberate entry into film and television
Conversations with people already working in the industry showed me how naturally those skills could transfer. Over roughly three years, I deliberately studied how projects move from IP to screenplay and beyond, how packaging works, how financing structures are discussed and where I could provide meaningful value.
- Today
Packaging projects and activating relationships
That work has built my growing network across authors, screenwriters, writers, producers, directors, financiers, businesses interested in film and other film and television professionals. I use that network selectively to create the right conversation for each project.
Transferable by Nature
Different industries. The same human work.
At the centre of each chapter is my ability to understand competing interests, care about the outcome and connect the person with the need to the person equipped to help.
- Relationship and stakeholder management
- Research, judgement and professional vetting
- Commercial thinking without losing sight of the people
- Identifying missing components and suitable specialists
Project Care
A project is never just another file.
When someone brings me a book, screenplay or concept, my first task is to understand what they are genuinely trying to create.
Creative projects often represent years of thought, work and personal investment. I bring a level of care close to that of the project owner while retaining the perspective needed to identify gaps, ask practical questions and make sound introductions.
I apply that same care to the people I introduce. A screenwriter’s ability, personality, professionalism, genre strengths and experience all matter. Knowing someone is not enough; they must be right for the work.
Care about the project. Vet the people. Protect the opportunity.
This is both my philosophy and my working standard.
I work behind the scenes by design.
My goal is to support somebody else’s book, screenplay, film or television project without becoming its public face.
Visibility Is Not My Job
I make the right people visible to each other.
I may be involved before a project becomes publicly visible and step away once the right people can continue together. If a defined ongoing role would help a particular project, I can agree that separately. Ongoing representation is not my fundamental business model.
Have a project or relationship worth discussing?
Start with a concise introduction. I will consider where there may be a genuine fit.
